House and Betting Office; early C18; Flemish bond brickwork, tiled roof; 'L'plan. Five windows wide, 2 storeys and attics. Plain plinth; on left half-glazed door up 2 stone steps, flat projecting head, rubbed brick arch over. Two sash windows to right, wide glazing bars, rubbed brick arch. Beyond door, 6 fielded panels, 3- pane rectangular fanlight, moulded surround, flat projecting hood on shaped brackets. Similar window to right. First floor 5 windows, as ground floor; gap between first and second wider than rest. Shaped brackets to eaves. Three hipped dormers, 2-light casement windows. Right return gable: single-storey canted bay set towards rear, French doors in end, sash windows to splays, hipped, slated roof. Plain string course and blocked window above; plain string course at eaves level, stone copings to parapet. Plain, brick chimney rises from rear eaves level. Dentil eaves to rear wing beyond. Timber-framed rear wing visible from yard. Interior not inspected.
