Almshouses, now 2 houses. Early C19. Timber frame plastered on
brick sill. Steep old red tile roof with overhanging boarded
verges and 4 gabled dormers above the eaves. Single fat square
central chimney. One and a half storeys in Gothic style. 4
widely spaced windows with cast iron lattice casements, chamfered
wooden mullions and coved cornice to each window. 2-light
similar windows to dormers, transomed 2 and 3-light windows to
ground floor. Doors each side of the middle 2 windows. Wooden
surround with shaped brackets supporting a flat hood. A
picturesque group below the church.
