2. Begun circa 1874, the Chapel completed circa 1893, with various late additions. By James Brooks. Large asymmetrical Convent building of late C19 date aligned on a north-wouth axis, the Chapel being sited at the north end of the complex. Designed in a Gothic Revival manner, the building is of 2 storeys with attics, faced in red brick with stone bandong. The traceried windows are formed in stone and the hipped and gabled roofs are tiled and at varying levels according to the architectural elements. The Chapel as built is formed of one aisle of a much larger design.
