Old wall along South and East sides of Churchyard, Church of St John the Baptist TQ 4274 53/W2A 26.3.54.

2. C16 or C17 red brick wall with sloped coping. South wall low at East end, higher at west because of hill slope. At West end lower part of wall is of huge flints, roughly knapped. At East end flat buttresses of upper walls taper into batter of lower part. The Eastern wall is largely hidden behind 'bus shelters and kiosks on outside; and inside churchyard ground rises to within 2 feet of coping.
