2. 2 mid-Cl9 pairs. Each house 3-storeys and sunk basement, one window in projecting panel in centre block, one in set back outer entrance section. Yellow stock brick with stucco frieze, dentil cornice and parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to 2nd floor sash windows with glazing bars and to all windows in entrance sections. Moulded architrave and cill band to lst floor window. Flat stucco surround and console bracketed cornice and pediment to narrow 3-light ground floor sash windows with glazing bars. Cast iron guards to these. No 229 has l-storey right extension with 1 window and double carriage gates. Modified entablature porches to set back 4-panel doors, Nos 223-227 with console bracketted cornices. No 229 with side lights and fanlight.

Nos 207 to 229 (odd) form a group.
