1906-7, by Smee and Houchin. Art Nouveau Gothic. Red brick and yellow terracotta. West front with wide centre gable and large tripartite window. Short square tower on right side with corner buttresses and crenellated parapet. Windows with characteristic leaded art nouveau patterns. Used as an amateur theatre (The Cranbrook Theatre, later The Ilford Playhouse) between 1970 and 1984, when the building was converted into offices. Converted into residential use in 2016
