25.12.52. GV II

House. Probably late C18 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Brick on sandstone plinth, plain tiled roof and large external brick stack at left gable end, also right end brick stack. Two storeys and attic; dentilled eaves cornice; three bays, windows have cambered heads and are all cross- casements; central panelled door with glazed top panels, four lower raised panels and gabled canopy on moulded brackets. Norwich Union fire insurance mark to right of central first floor window. Attic lights in gable ends. Interior not inspected. A mid-C20 two-storey extension with a gable end external chimney adjoins the left side elevation. Included for group value.
