Pair of farm cottages, now house. c1770 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Brick with stone dressings, plain tiled roof. Square plan of two bays with two-span roof and central chimney having a group of four C19 diagonal shafts. Single storey and attic; two-course band between storeys and at eaves level.

North-west front elevation: three-light casement windows have stone sills and lintels; the attic windows interrupt the eaves band. Main entrance in north-east elevation and has a C20 doorcase with engaged columns, open pediment and panelled door.

Interior: the overall plan of the cottages is retained. C19 and C20 extensions at rear.

The house forms a group with the nearby granary (qv).
