Farmhouse. c1600, altered and extended c1800.Timber-framed with painted brick infill and replacement walling; plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west; external chimney with brick stack to north elevation. Two storeys and cellar.
Framing: four rows of panels, two above and two below girding-beam; long straight braces in lower corners of both storeys; west gable end is jettied at first floor and attic levels, each jetty having a moulded bressummer on shaped brackets; collar and tie-beam trusses, the west end one has two collars, four struts to lower and two to upper collar, the east end truss is probably altered and has four struts beneath single collar and V-strut in apex.
Main south elevation: three-light ground floor casement with plank weathering; first floor also has a three-light casement and a single-light casement; C20 glazed double doors to right.
Interior has stop-chamfered main beams.
A c1800 brick addition also aligned east/west encloses external chimney; two storeys, two bays and all openings have cambered heads; the present main entrance is in the east gable end.
