Details
KEMERTON CP UPPER KEMERTON SO 9437 - 9537 9/92 The Priory - II
House. Late C17, refronted c1800 with mid-C20 alterations. Limestone ashlar with plain tiled roof behind parapet and two rear brick stacks. Two storeys and attic with dormers. 3:1 bays. The three-bay part has 16-pane sashes on both floors of the outer bays and a central first floor 12-pane sash; the single-bay part to the right is of greater width and has 12-pane sashes on both floors. The windows all have moulded architraves. The main entrance at the centre of the three-bay part has an open pediment, engaged Doric columns, a 6-panelled door with egg and dart moulded surrounds to the panels and a traceried segmental fanlight. There are C19 and C20 additions to the right side and at rear. Interior: the doors leading off the central hall are of similar detail to the front entrance door.
