II

Farmhouse, now house. C17 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed with rendered infill on rubble base, rendered rubble and brick end
walls and concrete tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned north-west/south-east
with large external rendered rubble chimney and circular bread oven at north-
west gable end. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: three rows
of square panels from sill to wall-plate. South-west front elevation: there
are three 2-light C20 ground floor casements, a flat roofed C20 dormer with
a 3-light casement in the north-west bay, and a gabled C20 timber porch on
straight brackets and a partly-glazed C20 door in the south-east bay. Attic
lights in gable ends. A C20 flat-roofed single-storey extension adjoins the
south-east end. Interior: framing noted as being largely intact. Large
fireplace retained in north-west bay.
