Farmhouse. C17, with some early C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered infill on a rubble plinth with slate roof. L-plan, main range to south-west, subsidiary range to north-west. Main stack at junction has a rectangular brick shaft. South-east front of two storeys on cellar. Four windows, all 3-light casements, except a single-light casement to left of centre. Ground floor has two 3-light casements with entrance to right- hand corner approached by a flight of steps with brick parapet wall. The entrance has a gabled slated canopy on wooden brackets with a 6-panel door. Cellar entrance to left of centre has a concrete lintel and a ledged and boarded door. Framing: four square panels high with straight tension braces. (RCHM, 3, p 216, no 25).
