Two houses. C17 with early C19 and late C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered infill, partly underbuilt in painted brick, under a slate roof. Two rubble stacks to rear (south) wall. North front of two storeys with four 2-light C20 casements. Ground floor has four windows, all of two lights, except that to left of centre which is a 3-light casement. Entrance to right between two windows has a pilastered wooden doorcase with moulded cornice and panelled door. Entrance to centre has a wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters and moulded cornice. The recessed six-panelled door is set within panelled reveals. Framing: two square panels to first floor, probably originally jettied. (RCHM, 3, p 202, no 44).
