House. C17, with some late C18 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth, refronted in painted brick, under a slate and tile roof. L-plan with limbs extending to east and-south, a lower C18 extension to west. Main stack to west gable end of the east limb is of rubble with a brick shaft. North front of two storeys with three windows, two 2-light casements flanking a single-light casement. Ground floor has two 2- light casements under segmental heads. To left-hand end a full-height cart entrance. House entrance faces into the carriageway and has a ledged and boarded door. Framing: three square panels high. The internal truss visible in the cart entry has three struts to the collar.
