Farmhouse. C17, restored late C20. Timber-frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble and brick plinth under a slate roof. H-plan with main range of two bays aligned east/west. West cross-wing projects further to north than the eastern one. Chimney stacks removed. North front of two storeys, except hall to centre which is of one storey with attic lit by gabled dormer. First floor of left-hand cross-wing has two 2-light case- ments with plank weatherings, the right-hand cross-wing has a 3-light case- ment. Ground floor has 0 + 2 + 1 windows, all 2-light casements. Entrance in left-hand return wall of right-hand cross-wing and has a half-glazed door. There is a blocked door to the right-hand end of the hall. Framing of hall range is close-studded with mid-rail to the south side, four square panels high to north side. Cross-wings, four square panels high, the gable-end, trusses having three struts to the collar with V-struts in the apex. Interior has exposed chamfered and stopped ceiling beams.
