3/37 Granary and stables about 20 metres east of Luntley Court (previously 20.2.53 as part of Cow house and barns at Luntley Court)
GV II
Granary and stables. C17, with early C19 extensions and alterations. Timber- frame with brick and rendered infill extended in brick with asbestos slate and a graduated stone tile roof. L-plan, C17 range extending to south-east, other C19 limb to south-west. North-west front has the gabled cross-wing to left of two storeys with external stone steps leading up to a first floor entrance, which has a shaped lintel over a C17 boarded door with ornamental strap hinges. One plus two windows, a 4-light casement to the left, two 2-light casements to right and a further first floor door. Ground floor has three 2-light casements with segmental brick heads. Stable entrance to right of stone steps has elaborate C17 strap hinges. Framing: six square panels high. The decorative gable has bargeboards and a pendant finial. Two collars with curved V-struts in the apex, and below the lower collar quadrant braces with knopsin square panels.
