11/52 Arrow Lawn Cottage (formerly listed as a 20.2.53 part of Arrow Lawn with range of cottages and barn to south)

GV II

House. Late C16, extended C17, raised early C19, with some mid-C20 restorations. Timber-frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth under a tile roof. Six bays aligned east/west, the two to the west are C16, the rest C17, the two eastern bays set slightly to north of the main axis. South elevation of two storeys. The first floor is blind to the left with three windows to right of centre, a 2-light casement and two single-light casements. Ground floor has a 5-light window with wooden mullions to left of centre, and two 3-light casements with plank weatherings to the right. Entrance to left-hand end has a segmental head and a ledged and boarded door. A further entrance to right of centre has a C20 ledged and boarded door. Framing: four square panels high to C16 part, jettied on west gable with king-post truss above which is herringbone bracing. C17 framing is mainly three square panels high.
