Details
YAZOR CP - SO 44 NW 4/97 Monument about 2 yards east of the north-east corner of the south transept of the Old Church of St John the Baptist GV II Pedestal tomb. Probably c1800. Sandstone ashlar. Deep base, probably over vault. Engaged fluted corner columns. Frieze and moulded cornice. Low hipped capping with central obelisk. Each face of obelisk has a quatrefoil and a variety of key patterns to the bottom margin. Egg-finial, probably remains of urn, rises above obelisk on metal stem. Inscriptions illegible.
