Details
BODENHAM CP BODENHAM SO 55 SW 5/24 Tan-y-Bryn GV II House. Circa 1700 with early C20 addition and restored mid-C20. Timber- framed with rendered infill on sandstone base with machine-tiled roof, and a brick stack at left end of ridge. Three framed bays aligned north/south with external rubble chimney and rebuilt brick stack at north end. Two storeys. Framing: four rows of irregularly sized panels from sill to wall-plate, collar and tie-beam trusses with two struts at ends. East front elevation: windows are all mid-C20 casements of three lights in outer bays with central first floor 2-light casement. Central entrance has a gabled timber-framed porch and C20 door. There is an early C20 wing of two storeys adjoining to the rear right and also a mid-C20 flat-roofed garage at the north end enclosing the chimney.
