6/14 Garden walls and mounting block to south of The Grange
GV II
Garden walls and mounting block. Possibly C17 or C18. Coursed sandstone rubble. Walls extend about 25 yards southwards from The Grange (qv) and return about 75 yards eastwards to Summerhouse (qv). East/west stretch has two ramps to west of Summerhouse. Walls are about 5 feet high. Mounting block, with steps rising northwards, is situated immediately south of The Grange on west side of wall. Included for group value.
