GV II
Farmhouse. Late C18 to early C19 with later extensions. Brick, Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. Rectangular plan with main front to south. Two storeys and attic. South elevation has three windows, glazing bar sashes with cambered heads. Central attic light in open pedimented gable has semi- circular-headed sash. Central six-panelled early C19 door with fanlight. North side has large late C19 extension. Interior has four-flight oak stair- case with half-landings, square section balusters, carved tread ends and turned newels. Six-panelled fielded doors. Main ground floor room has fireplace, perhaps early C19 with flat three-centred head composed of two rows of brick voussoirs. Two further fireplaces are early C19, cast-iron with raised baskets and enriched borders. Attics have two late C19 cast-iron fireplaces.
