- II Farmhouse. c1620 with extensive C20 repairs and alterations. Timber-framed with small rendered, square panels, some brick walling, sandstone rubble plinth, tiled roofs and central sandstone rubble chimney stack with cluster of 4 diagonally set brick shafts. T-shaped plan; front range of 3 structural bays with parlour to left, "hall" to right with central baffle entry; single service bay to rear. Two storeys, attic and cellar beneath parlour; tiled weatherings above ground floor level; all windows are C20 casements with rectangular leaded lights. Front Elevation: symmetrical arrangement, the outer bays have regularly spaced a ground and a first floor window; gabled, two-storey porch projects from central bay, first floor is slightly jettied on moulded bressummer with C20 timber door beneath. Timber door to cellar in west gable end. Interior Extensively renovated; large back-to-back fireplaces to both floors with C20 staircase traditionally positioned to rear of stack.
