House, now house and shop. Early C19 with later C19 - early C20 shop fronts, C20 alterations. Brick in Flemish bond, colour-washed. Concrete tile roof. Double-depth plan, originally with 2-room, central entrance-hall front, with inserted shop fronts. 3 storeys, 3 bays. Central round-headed entrance with C20 glazed door and fanlight. Shop front to left with former central entrance (now window) flanked by 3-light windows with moulded mullions and single transom, in pilastered surround with cable-moulded consoles carrying moulded cornice and hood. Shop front to right has former entrance (now window) to left, with 4-light mullioned window to right, in similar surround. First floor: original 16-pane sashes in flush wooden architraves to side bays, narrower central window (formerly 12-pane sash) with C20 glazing, all with sills beneath segmental arches. Second floor: shallower windows with C20 casements, that to left in original flush wooden architrave. Raised gable to left. Pair of ridge stacks. Included for group value.
