SKEFFLING MAIN ROAD TA 31 NE (north side) 12/74 Barn and adjoining stable/granary approximately 160 metres north-west of Bleak House Farmhouse - II

Barn and adjoining stable/granary. Mid C18 barn with later C18 stable/ granary to east. Barn of coursed cobbles with brick dressings, stable/ granary of brick. Pantiled roof. Rectangular on plan. 2 storeys, 4 bays to barn, single bay to stable/granary. South side: barn has quoins, door to right beneath timber lintel, pair of slit breathers to left, and pair of similar breathers above. Stable/granary has segmental-headed door, 4 slit breathers at first-floor level and blocked hatch above. Tumbled-in brick to raised gables. Left gable end to barn has pairs of breathers to each floor, hatch in gable. Right gable end to stable/granary has 6-pane window in former segmental-headed first-floor door, blocked below. North side similar to south side.
