Details
HAVENSIDE 1. 5266 Harbour Farmhouse TA 1827 7/2 II 2. C18. Brown brick. Pantile roof hipped at west end. Tumbled brick gable at east end. Two storeys and attics. L-shaped plan, with lean-to extension in the angle. Front has 4 cased sashes on 1st floor and one on the ground floor. Two mid-C19 wooden canted bays with sashes and moulded cornices. Door in wooden Tuscan frame. Attic granary with planked doors in east gable. West elevation has one ground floor cased sash, one planked loading door on 1st floor, and small door to attic granary (both of latter with contemporary cast-iron hinges). Low 2-storey extension with 2 planked doors on 1st floor, and one on ground floor. Interior has staircase with mid-C18 slender vase-shaped balusters.
