CHURCH GATE 1. 5266 No 2 TA 1828 NE 1/55 II 2. Mid C19. Brown brick. Pitched slate roof. Two storeys and attics. Front has 2 gables, west one breaking forward slightly and barge-boarded with wooden drop finial. East one has coped, shaped gable culminating in chimney: plaster shield in gable. Two ranges of sashes with glazing bars in moulded stucco surrounds with hood moulds: that on ground floor has shutters with moulded panels. Door with 6 moulded panels and oblong fanlight in moulded stucco surround with hood mould. Three-light attic window in gable end, central light higher than others, in moulded stucco surround with hood mould. West elevation has one barge-boarded gable and one range of sashes with glazing bars in moulded surround with hood mould; ground floor window has shutters with moulded panels. Three-light attic window, central light higher than others, in moulded stucco surround with hood mould.
