House and barn adjoining to left. Early C18 with later additions and alterations including C19 ranges to right of no special interest. Magnesian limestone with narrow red brick and engineering brick,and pantile roof. Double-range plan. House of 2 storeys and 3 bays with 2-storey, single-bay range to left. House: brick plinth; brick and stone quoins. Central entrance a part-glazed door under elliptical arch. Ground floor has 16-pane sashes. 2-course first-floor band. First-floor outer bays have 12-pane, unequally hung sashes, to centre a 9-pane unequally hung sash,all under elliptical arches. Cogged eaves band. To left, barn has first floor pitching door under elliptical arch. Roof hipped to left. Ashlar kneeler and copings to right. Ridge and end stacks. Interior has chamfered beams to some ceilings.
