Details
GOUDHURST CHURCH ROAD TQ 7237-7337 (south side) 15/117 Coach house/schoolroom about 20 metres south east of Maypole GV II Coach house/schoolroom. C18, rebuilt and altered early C20. Timber framed on red brick base part exposed with plaster infill, and clad with weather-boarding, with plain tiled roof. Half-hipped main range, 1 storey and loft with hipped cross- wing. Gabled loft opening to left over carriage doors with rectangular fanlight and boarded door to right. Carriage doors to right return of projecting wing. Lunette window to right return, and casements to rear. Interior: fitted out as garaging, the main range to right was used as a schoolroom/playrom. Workshops and storage sheds attached to rear.
