Details
BENENDEN TQ8132 ROLVENDEN ROAD 1350-0/7/94 (South West side) Pullington Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Late C16 to early C17 lobby entrance house with integral projecting parlour wing, refronted and refenestrated in C19. Timber-framed building refronted in tile hanging with 2 bands of 3 courses of pointed tiles on base of red brick with grey headers. Tiled roof, half-hipped to right with off central brick chimneystack and early C17 external stack to left. Decorative C19 bargeboards to gable ends. L-shaped building of 2 storeys and attics 3 windows. 2 & 3-light C19 lattice casements with some old glass. Late C19 timber-framed porch with curved bargeboards. Interior has inglenook fireplace. Exposed frame with jowled upright posts, curved windbraces and through purlin roof with collar-beam and no ridgepiece. Some original mullioned windows.
