Details

RAMSGATE HARDRES STREET TR 3865 SW (south east side) 9/164 No. 19, wall and rear courtyard 3.8.76 II House. Circa 1800. Stock brick, with flint to return elevations and with slate roof. Two storeys and basement on plinth with projecting centre and strip quoins and modillion cornice to parapet, raised and rendered to centre, with double span roof with stacks to left and to right. Regular fenestration of 3 glazing bar sashes on 1st floor and 2 on ground floor with central panelled door, now mostly glazed, with semi-circular fanlight in double rebated surround, and with 2 steps with ramped and wreathed handrail. Base- ment opening to right. Wall to left about 6 feet high and 10 yards long with boarded door adjacent to house. Two storey extension to rear in flint, with stable doors to courtyard with York stone flags. Partly demolished flint garden building with blocked lancets reported.
