3/130 Ledian Farmhouse 26.4.68. GV II
Farmhouse. Rear wing first half C16, front range mid to late C17, C18, C19 and early C20 alterations. Timber framed, with plain tile roof. Front range: red brick in Flemish bond with timber- framed core. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys on galletted stone plinth with plat band in English bond and plain wood eaves cornice. Half-hipped roof. Tall central multiple brick ridge stack with fillet. Regular 5-window front of wood mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights. Central mid C20 panelled door with leaded rectangular fanlight under simple wooden porch. Rear wing to left: timber-framed with rendered infilling. Left side elevation galletted stone with brick dressings. Gable end and part of right side elevation galletted stone with C16 red brick dressings. 2 storeys. Multiple brick ridge stack to rear. Short 2-storey rear wing in angle between main range and left wing. C19 rear lean-to to rest of main range. Interior: Large C16 inglenook at rear end of left wing, with moulded bressumer and 4-centred arch with hollow spandrels. Cl7 stone fireplaces in front range. Exposed timbers. Interior partly inspected.
