3/73 Weir Cottage (At TQ 831 536 in the grounds of Leeds Castle)

House. Early C19 with later C19 additions. Chequered red and grey brick with plain tile-roof. Double depth. 2 storeys. Stone plinth, built out in brick in C20. Plat band in English bond, dentilled brick eaves cornice. Roof hipped to front and rear, giving conical appearance to front. Red brick stack at top of front hip and another to rear towards left. Regular 3-window front of 2 recessed glazing-bar sashes with broad flat glazing bars and blind central window, all with plain brick voussoirs. Central half-glazed door, glazed area of 6 lights with broad glazing bars. One blocked window on each floor to each side, with segmental heads. Later C19 2-storey addition built in to hill, in same materials, now under same roof, with dentilled brick eaves cornice. Various single-storey outbuildings. Interior not inspected.
