5/115 Walnut Tree Farmhouse
G.V. II
House. Late C16 or early C17 and later. Timber-framed with weatherboarded ground floor, rendered first floor and plain tile roof. Right end bay tile-hung. Left gable end to road brick on ground floor and tile-hung above. At right angles to road. Lobby- entry plan of 2 timber-framed bays with third added shortly after to right and C19 bay to far right. 2 storeys with brick plinth to left gable and slight continuous jetty to 2 left bays, stepped up slightly in next bay to right and discontinued in C19 bay. Multiple ridge stack with corbelled top off-centre to left. Irregular fenestration of 3 2-light first-floor casements; one beneath stack with one to right of it and one deeper one towards right end of rendered section. Single casement in right tile- hung section. Plain door beneath stack. Re-roofed in C19.
