SD 49 NE STRICKLAND ROGER POTTER FELL ROAD
5/50 Godmond Hall 21.11.52 II
House. Probably C17 with later alterations and incorporating remains of earlier Pele tower in South wing. Stone rubble walls with slate drip stones, partly rendered, 2 stone chimneys with slate drips. 3 storeys. 6-panelled C19 door under stone porch, with 2 C19 casements to each side; 3 C19 casements above; 3 dormer windows with lead lights probably early C20. South wing has small lattice window to ground floor and C19 stone mullioned window above with iron casements. Interior not inspected but said to have C17 staircase. See R.C.H.M. p.224
