Monument, High Knott

Monument. Dated 1803. Rough stone rubble pillar approximately 8' high.
Erected by the Reverend Thomas Williamson in memory of his father who for many
years apparently walked up to High Knott each day. A plaque on the East side
bears the inscription:
In Memory of
THOMAS WILLIAMSON
of Height, in Hugill, Gent.
who died Feb 15th 1797
Aged 66 Years
[Erected 1803]
