BROUGHTON WEST SD 28 NW 9/34 Lower Bleansley (formerly listed as 25.3.70 Low Breansley) II
Farmhouse. Datestone reads: "ES/1666" with later additions. Roughcast stone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. South-east elevation of 2 storeys and 5 bays, 3rd bay an addition, 1st and 2nd bays converted outbuilding. Windows to 1st and 2nd bays are C20 insertions. Casement windows to 3rd bay; 4th and 5th bays have single-chamfered-mullioned windows of 6 and 3 lights, those to ground floor have label moulds. Entrances to 1st and 3rd bays, that between 4th and 5th bays has entrance with C20 gabled parch incorporating datestone. Rear has gabled wing and lean-to outshut built into hillside.
