II

Farmhouse. Datestone: "1714". Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Ground floor windows are sashed with vertical glazing bars and horns; 1st floor windows are sashed with single glazing bars and horns. Central entrance has round-arched hood with slated gable; 6-panel door with decorative handle. Rear has continuous outshut. Right return has dripcourses to both floors. Datestone over ground floor dripcourse to left end has arched head, egg-and-dart moulded frame and foliate lettering: "BUILT BY/WRE/1714". Ground-floor has casement windows, 1st floor sashed window and attic light. Entrance has 2-panel door; end opening. Left return has 2 shuttered attic lights. Gable-end stacks. Interior has plank and muntin partitions to ground and 1st floors; 2-panel doors. Dog-leg stair has wide steps, turned balusters, missing to 1st flight, rectangular fluted newels and moulded handrail.
