Three houses. Before 1847. Possibly by George Webster. Roughcast stone with
rock-faced dressings and slate roof. Two storeys, five bays, 1st bay breaks forward
under gable, other bays have gablets. Stone base and quoins, ornamental
bargeboards. Ground floor has windows with labels to lintels and 3- and 2-light
casements with iron glazing bars in octagon and square pattern common to the
Holker estate. Similar windows without labels to 1st floor, most of two lights
but those to 1st and 3rd bays of three lights, the central light higher. Entrances
between 2nd and 3rd, and 4th and 5th bays have open timber gabled porch with
board doors. Gable-end stacks and two cross-axial stacks. Left return has projecting gabled bay and re-entrant hipped timber porch; two entrances with
half-glazed doors. Right return has lean-to outshut.
