Details
LOWER ALLITHWAITE AYNSOME ROAD SD 3878 (West side) Cartmel 8/29 Kirstead II House. Probably C17 with roof raised in C18. Roughcast with slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Ground floor windows have 3-light casements; 1st floor has sashed windows with single thick glazing bars. Central entrance has glazed door and gabled canopy. Gable-end stacks. Right return has small projection, probably to oven. Rear has gabled wing with stack. Interior not inspected but believed to have plank and muntin partitioning.
