Shop. C17. Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 4th bay recessed. Slate dripcourse to ground floor. Ground floor has casement window with iron opening light to lst bay and leaded casements to 3rd and 4th bays. 1st floor has sashed windows with glazing bars, but 3rd bay has small-paned casement. Entrance has open slate gabled porch with 6-fielded-panel door. 2 lateral stacks; squat cross-axial stack and paired gable-end stacks to left, adjoining chapel (q.v.). Right return has 1st floor jettied on 3 arched braces. 2 casement windows and 1st floor projecting window with 2 mullions, transom and opening light. To right 1st floor projects under passage leading to Vicarage Lane. Rear has stone stair to 1st bay over passage, 2nd bay has jettied 1st floor and light with leaded glazing. 3rd bay projects with stair window over small light; 4th bay projects and is weather boarded, 5th bay has casement windows. Interior has chamfered beams and stud and plaster partitions; dog leg stair has turned balusters and nave newels. 1st floor has alcove with screen formed of 2 tiers of turned balusters. Rear window, now covered by later extension to rear, has 4-light wood chamfered-mullioned frame, each light with 2 intermediate bars, leaded glazing behind is plastered over on outside.
