CONISTON SD 29 NE Barn to north-west of 4/77 Dixon Ground Farmhouse GV II
Barn. Probably C18. Stone rubble and slate roof. Entrance to south has pentice and pivoted doors, one with smaller round-headed door; later gabled wing to right;with lean-to projection to angle. Inserted windows to left. Left return has inserted segmental-headed entrance and 2 dripcourses. Rear has outshut under cat slide roof to left of pivoted barn doors, with C20 shed adjoining to right. Interior has collar and tie beam trusses.
