Farmhouse. Dated 161O on lintel stone, with initials T.P., M.P. Coursed red sandstone rubble walls with squared quoins, slate roof of slight pitch, originally would have been stone-slate, now only bottom course, brick end chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Formerly 2 entrances, now only one which has inscribed lintel and moulded surround, with lintel partly covered by 193O's gabled porch supported by 2 re-used Ionic reeded columns on square bases from Woodside, Wreay. Filled doorway to left, now a window, has carved lintel to give false pointed head. Windows all with chamfered mullions and surrounds of 2-3-4 lights: continuous hood mould above windows on both floors. Set at right angles to the road and faces into the farmyard. Listing does not include other farm buildings.
