House, formerly vicarage. Early C19 with late C19 additions.
Regularly coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar
dressings, plain gables, gable and ridge stacks with pairs of
diagonally set ashlar chimneys, and a stone slated roof. L-plan
house, with added range to north. South elevation. Two
storeys, four bays, with advanced gable to east end. Stacked
2-light mullioned windows with triangular heads, diminutive
panelled spandrels within narrow flush surrounds. Small paned
iron window frames. The doorway lies within the bay adjoining
the advanced gable, and is framed in the same manner as the
window lights, with a flattened triangular head, panelled
spandrels, but with a moulded surround, and a pointed planked
door with gothic blind panels. The doorway is enclosed by an
open porch, the entablature of which is supported by clustered
moulded columns. The advanced gable has window openings with
flat heads beneath plain lintels. The ground floor windows to
all bays are deeper than those to the first floor.
