II
Farmhouse and smithy. Late C18 and mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble with gritstone
dressings and quoins, Slate roof. Stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Stone
gable end and ridge stacks, with simple cornices. Two storeys, three bays with
single storey, two bay smithy to east. Doorcase with plain jambs and lintel. Plank
door. To west, large C19 2-light flush mullion window with glazing bar sashes. To
east, two C18 2-light flush mullion windows with some glazing bar sashes and some
plain sashes. Above, two similar windows. Over C19 window to west a similar large
2-light window. To extreme east, large 2-light mullion window with vertical glazing
bars and lapped glass. Flush doorcase to east and beyond full height double plank
doors.
