II

Farmhouse. 1669 and 1690 with alterations in 1801. Coursed gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and large quoins. Stone slate roof with stone gable end stacks, stone ridge stock and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Two storeys, three bays. 1669 house to south has six-light recessed and chamfered mullion window with C20 plank door inserted into the central lights. To south two-light square sectioned mullion window with dripmould. Above six -light recessed and chamfered mullion window with datestone to north side, just under the eaves inscribed 'WC NA GM 1669'. Attached to north the 1690 house, which has quoined central doorcase with staff moulded surround and lintel inscribed 'CHG 1801' with staff moulded semi-circle over. To south a four-light recessed and chamfered mullion window and to north C20 two-light chamfered mullion window. Above two two-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows with datestone between inscribed 'WG IG 1690'.
