Slack House Farmhouse and Barn

Farmhouse and barn under continuous roof. 1762. Coursed gritstone rubble with quoins. Gritstone dressings, some painted. Concrete tile roof to house, stone slates to barn. Four stone gable end and ridge stacks.

Two storeys. South elevation; three bays. Off-centre doorcase with large jambs and lintel. C19 stone slated, wooden, gabled, canopy over. Studded wooden door. To west two three-light flush mullion windows. Similar window to east. Over door datestone inscribed 'LIA 1762'. Three similar windows in same arrangement to first floor. All windows have leaded side lights and central small pane casements.

To east barn with chamfered quoined surround doorcase. C20 three-light flush mullion window beyond doorcase to east. Above circular stone opening to hayloft. Over door C18 three-light flush mullion window.
