Cottage. Probably C17, altered early C20. Coursed rubble
sandstone with ashlar dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof
with coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone finial on the
north west kneeler. Paired ashlar ridge and gable stacks. Two
storeys. North elevation of four bays. Off-centre doorway with
ashlar surround and bracketed hood. Plank door. To the left a
2-light chamfered mullion window. To the right a full height
canted bay of 1-2-1 lights, with moulded cornice and a hipped
roof with a stone finial. To the right a 3-light chamfered
mullion window. The first floor has from the left two 2-light
chamfered mullion windows, the upper part of the canted bay and
a 3-light chamfered mullion window.
