Farmhouse and stable, became school house, now house. Dated 1663
on right hand stop of hood mould over front door. Former stable
C17/C18 attached right. House ashlar and limestone rubble.
Square timber framing at left end. Limestone slate roof, hipped
on left. Group of 3 ashlar limestone stacks in line with front
door. Single ashlar stacks from eaves, left and front far right,
with moulded upper and lower courses. Limestone coping on gable
end with roll cross saddles as on dormer gables. C17/18 stable,
squared limestone with limestone slate roof. 3 bays. Blocked
single door left, stable door right. House lobby entrance plan. 3
rooms, one room deep, former dairy far left. One storey and attic
with 2 gabled dormers from eaves either side of front door.
Irregular fenestration. 2, 3 and 4-light flat chamfered stone-
mullioned windows with leaded lights, with and without stopped
hoods. Unpainted plank door off centre right in depressed stone
arch, hood mould over with large diamond shaped stops, left stop
with rose decoration. Large stone fireplace left of central
stack.
