Malvern Mill GV II
Cl8, disused since 1923 and converted to dwelling. Now 2 storeys and basement; rubble-built with Cotswold stone roof. Stone chimney to West, brick chimney to East. Irregular fenestration: 3 windows to 1st floor, 2 with common lintel, 2 and 3-light leaded casements. Six panel door to right with modern rustic porch (formerly a 1st floor window). East gable has pigeon loft tabling and primitive type of mullion window (1920s or 1930s). The wheel-house to right has been completely altered to form 1½ storey extension; exposed timbering of slight slanting to rear. The original appearance is shown on a painting of 1886 illustrated in Dr Icely's book on Blockley.
