Public House. Late C17 extended to E and refronted in plaster in early C19. Timber frame plastered with weatherboarded ground floor extension in painted brick work. Steep old red tiled roofs. Hipped slated roof extension. One and a half storeys. facing S, with symmetrical plastered front. Formerly a long one and a half storeys building with its end to the road and a short 2- storeys wing at its NW corner. The lateral chimney serving the front part and the external gable chimney at its N end appear to be C19 renewals.
